Na de succesvolle eerdere edities wordt het Kente Festival 2010 dit jaar in de Heineken Music Hall gehouden. Verschillende culturele groepen van over de wereld zullen deelnemen aan dit festival.

Chiefs en hun koninginnen, afkomstig uit verschillende landen, komen in hun kleurrijke Kente klederdracht om hun Koninklijke traditie te demonstreren.

Het programma van het Kente Festival bevat onder meer:

- Multiculturele modeshow competitie van de Nederlandse Modeschool
- Kente- en dans competitie
- De best ontworpen KENTE van de avond
- Kente souvenirs voor de eerste 500 gasten
- Miss Kente 2010 verkiezing
- Kente Prince en Kente Princes verkiezing
- Live band uit Ghana: Gyedu-Blay Ambolley
- Een demonstratie van hoe Kente wordt geweven

Stichting GAM in collaboration with Unity Monetary Services and Susaslin Fashion present Kente Festival 2010

After the successful previous editions, the Kente Festival 2010 will be held in the Heineken Music Hall. Several cultural groups from all over the world will participate in this festival.

Kings & Queens from various countries are going to demonstrate their royal tradition in the Kente clothes.

The program of Kente Festival 2010 includes:

- Multicultural fashion show competition from the Dutch Fashion School
- Kente- and dance competition
- The best designed Kente of the evening
- Kente souvenir presents for the first 500 guest
- Crowning of Miss Kente 2010
- Crowning of Kente Prince and Kente Princes
- Live Band from Ghana: Gyedu-Blay Ambolley
- A demonstration on how Kente is made
