Dear Stefan. So you’re a “HUGE fan” but you think 53 Euro’s is too much for almost 2 hours of top entertainment by Linda Gail Lewis, the legendary Killer himself en their first class bands while almost all of Jerry’s contemporaries have either passed away or are no longer performing and ticket prices of around 100 Euro’s for many other concerts (by performers who haven’t got half the talent Jerry has) are no exception these days? Over 10 years ago, when there wasn’t a special guest like Linda Gail on the bill the ticket price here in Holland was 45 Euro’s, so only 8 Euro’s less than now.

At age 75 (!), after a life most of us would not have survived, he still gives us almost non-stop up-tempo high energy rock ‘n roll shows of about an hour without any of the boring tricks to stretch the shows others are using (by the way, the show length has been about an hour for decades and I’ve spoken to Elvis fans who’d be glad to pay the double price to see their hero perform for only 20 minutes!). His REAL huge fans realize this which explains his almost always sold out shows here in Holland. His recent show in Austria (Oct. 28th) was also sold out, 4000 fans attended the one in Hungary (Oct. 31st), the one in Switzerland tomorrow night is also sold out and I’m sure many huge fans will show up for the Amsterdam show Nov. 9th.

Thanks for letting us know you’ll stay home that night Stefan. Hope there’ll be something nice on TV for ya.

I am a HUGE fan, and with all the respect to Jerry Lee I have to say: this price is too high for the unfortunately too short show he plays nowadays. I hope some people will show up at this show, but I stay home this time.

This is a no-go for me.
